The Rift Valley Academy is an international boarding school snuggled in mountain forests overlooking Kenya's awe-inspiring Great Rift Valley. Serving missionaries, nationals, and diplomats through much of East Africa, RVA is the largest mission boarding school in the world.
T he Rift Valley Academy stands 7,500 feet above Kenya's great Rift Valley and one hour north of the modern city of Nairobi. The academy, which has almost 500 students, serves grades 1-12.
Todd & Allyson will be serving as dorm parents to 20 9th grade students at RVA. RVA's school calendar is setup that there are 3 sessions with a one month break between each session. During the breaks students return home to spend time with their families. The breaks occur during the months of December, April and August.
